Optional Claude setup

Your time and bonus plan, easier to understand.

NetTake keeps the timer, history, and calculations. Claude can help you review the results and make a personal planning view that fits how you work.

Step 1

Get your first outlook

Import a timesheet in NetTake, review aliases and unclear rows, then open your dashboard. Keep real client and deal names out of aliases.

Step 2

Talk it through

On the dashboard, open Ask Claude to explain my pace. Review and copy the aggregate briefing into your approved Claude workspace. You can also add a Skill below.

Step 3

Connect live data, if you want

In the Windows app, right-click the tray icon, open More device controls, and choose Copy Claude MCP setup. Add it to Claude Desktop's local MCP configuration and restart Claude.

Try this first

“Help me make NetTake my own. Review my project aliases, weekly billable target, and bonus assumptions. Ask what I want to change, show me the exact impact, and tell me what I need to approve or edit in NetTake.”

The currently published Windows connector reads five alias-first tools. It cannot start or stop a timer, change settings, or import files from Claude. If Claude suggests a weekly target, preview and approve that exact change on your NetTake dashboard. Direct Claude-to-NetTake changes are still in development.

Choose a Claude Skill

These ZIPs contain instructions, a local import preview script, and synthetic examples. They contain no employee data. Claude Skills require code execution to be enabled in your workspace.

NetTake Time Coach

Ask Claude to explain your time and forecast. An upcoming desktop update will also let you preview and approve changes to your own planning assumptions.

Where changes happen

App settings on each computer control account connection, sync, launcher layout, shortcut, and idle prompts. Web Settings control project aliases, billable status, compensation assumptions, and scenarios for your account. Claude explains those results and can customize a private view.

Historical files and privacy

Review timesheets before using NetTake's web importer. Missing collection status is marked uncollected for review. Compensation history can be reviewed with the Skill, then entered by effective date in web Settings; bulk compensation import is not available yet. Use only files and Claude workspaces your employer permits.

NetTake is a personal planning tool, not an employer payroll or official bonus system. Work-managed computers and Claude connectors may require your IT team's approval. A shared Skill gives teammates the same workflow; each person connects their own NetTake account.
